I love AMEX Centurion Lounges, especially the The LaGuardia Centurion Lounge. It’s in the terminal B before passing the security check points, so I can use this lounge no matter which airline I am going to take.

Upon arrival, by the M60-SBS bus, I headed directly to the LaGuardia Centurion Lounge . Surprisingly, it was so quiet when I arrived. There were less than 10 passengers in the lounge; usually it is pretty crowded. Even another guest, who  came in after me,  told the employees how shocked he was when he saw only a few people there. This lounge changes a little bit, periodically. Last time when I was here, there was an area for yoga practice. This time, they had a little golf decoration.

A new decoration.

The menu rotates every once a while but it always contains a cold salad bar and a hot food section. Today,  I had the fried chicken as the main course. It was not bad at all and the chicken was crispy outside and tender inside. However, it was not as flavorful as I would’ve expected. I did enjoy the variety of the salad selections. After enjoying the meal, I then went to my gate which is at the new Eastern Concourse at Terminal B.

Despite it being an award ticket, thanks to my American Airlines Executive Platinum status (EXP),  I was able to get upgraded to first class on this short flight.  Due to its distance, American Airlines only served snacks for first class passengers.  The flight attendant was very accommodating.  She served 3 rounds of beverages in the first class cabin.  For some AA flights which are still using Gogo Wifi service, passengers who use T-mobile service could enjoy one hour free wifi. I loved this benefit a lot.  Unfortunately,  AA is switching it’s vendors, which results in less and less aircraft equips Gogo wifi service.  For this flight, I enjoyed the view of  New York City and LaGuardia airport. I also enjoyed the view before landing. To see more, please check my video travel report below.

Free one hour Wi-Fi service for T-mobile customers.

The view before landing. It looks like a dog head or a gator.
